For an Althaus Digital Marketing bootcamp assignment, we were given a brief of recreating a wine bottle label and blog post copy for a hypothetical, up-market, high quality drinks makers based in Cornwall. They are releasing a new alcohol free Sauvignon Blanc and need a label and blog post to accompany this. The brand wish to appeal to all ages with their new release.
The lesson attended covered typography so our focus was centred on that.

The fonts are kept consistent (also apparent in the copywriting work below) to ensure consistence; the ‘Cornish Cordials’ and ‘Alcohol Free’ are in a friendly yet still sophisticated style, while the ‘Sauvignon Blanc’ stands out in a bolder, blockier font.
I decided to add a logo of a grape to break up the text and add balance to the banner at the bottom. I then thought the label looked a bit bland compared to other wine labels, inspiring the wine glass graphics in the background - I made them more transparent to avoid distraction.
The colour palette is kept confident with powder blue and cream, keeping a classy tone while appealing to all ages.

The next assignment was to create a body of copy for a blog post. The brief specified around 100 words, focusing on optimisation of key words and the tone of voice.
Bearing the target audience and platform in mind, I tailored the language and visual appeal around this. The copy is broken up visually with pictures and graphics, while maintaining brand identity through the logo and font consistency.
