Filmed for a major film project for my time at MMU. ‘GIRLS’ was produced from the drawing board to post-production during Covid, meaning many aspects of what I thought my FMP would be, it could not quite achieve. Despite having a very small cast and crew of 5, we still got to produce a film we were proud of.

This serves as a reflection to my previous film titled 'Serving With Xenios'. In this, I evaluate the process of the collaborative project and accompany it with proof of our working.

"Xenios is the act of building relationships between the staff members and the customers within the restaurant, they do this by offering food, gifts, protection and shelter." This short documentary film was created to accompany a serving platter created out of recycled waste products for Where The Light Gets In, Stockport. I worked alongside 3D design, product design and textiles students during this project. This film was created for an 'exploration' brief at university. I chose to create a film documenting my childhood destination of Aberystwyth in Wales. I compared my experiences as a child to my experience as a 20-year-old 12 years later.

A film documenting Marxism in the current day. We follow Karl, a member of the Communist society, through his beliefs on the current day. Alongside the link between Marxism and Manchester, stretching from past to present.

A short film made for the brief "to create a film ‘portrait’ of a particular individual through in-depth observation of a particular meaningful room or space. The individual must not themselves be obviously visualised in the film".
